To enter a note you simply press the screen: Now move the pen while it still touches the screen. The note follows the pen. When the note is at it's correct position you can remove the pen from the screen. You can also enter notes by using the keyboard. |

To select notes you first have to set selection mode on by pressing the select symbol on the lower side of the screen. Now move the pen to the upper left corner of the notes to select and press the screen. Move the pen to the lower right corner of the screen, and keep the pen on the screen. After you release the pen from the screen all notes that are within the area of the upper left and lower right corner are selected. |

To delete notes you first have to select them. After you have selected the notes, choose from the menu [Delete note(s)]. All selected notes will be deleted. |

To duplicate notes you first have to select them. After you have selected the notes, choose from the menu [Duplicate ]. All selected notes will be duplicated. Now you can move the selected notes. |

To copy notes you first have to select them. After you have selected the notes, choose from the menu [Copy to]. Now move the pen to the measure you want to copy the notes to. After you press the screen all selectes notes will be copied to that measure. |

To transpose notes you first have to select them. After you have selected the notes, hoose from the menu [Transpose +1] or [Transpose -1]. All selected notes will be transposed by one (up or down). You can also move selected notes up and down by pressing the scroll buttons of your handheld. |

To change the tempo of notes you first have to select them. After you have selected the notes, hoose from the menu [Tempo *2] or [Tempo /2]. The tempo of all selected notes will multiplied or divided by 2. |

The palm is not really a sound device. So low notes can sound too low. Especially when you have imported a PC midi file this problem occurs. To get a more descent sound, you can transpose all notes lower then the low "C" by one octave. |

To insert or delete a measure select from de [Edit] menu [Insert measure] or [Delete measure]. Now move to the position you want to insert or delete a measure and press the screen. |

When you want to see what notes are played you can set this option by clicking the checkbox.
When playing the midi file a rectangle will be placed around the current measure played.

This option is used to set the delay between notes in a chord. Most handhelds aren't polyphone, so to play a chord you have to rapidly repeat all notes in a chord to get an idea of the chord. With this option you can set time each separate note will be heard. |
